Botanical Name:  Goeppertia insignis formerly Calathea lancifolia

Common Name: Rattlesnake Calathea

With oblong-shaped, dark green leaves contrasted by a deep purple undersides and rich red stems, it is one of the most ornamental Goeppertia varieties. Its name comes from the markings that look like snakeskin on the plant's leaves. We recommend bottom -watering, avoid tap water on leaves.
