Missouri Primrose is one of the more beautiful of the Primroses found in Texas. The blooms are absolutely huge - up to 4 inches across. The buds are yellow with red spots, and the stems are red. It makes large, four-winged seed pods. It makes a very showy specimen plant in a rock garden where it has plenty of room to spread out. Blooms from April through August. Reaches a height of 6"-1ft tall. Texas Native.
